Deputy Minister for Health and Social Welfare yesterday told a health conference here that Tanzania is committed to meet the Abuja declaration that requires countries to allocate 15 percent of their annual national budgets to the health sector.
Dr Stephen Kebwe told medical experts, Health Ministers and other health players from within and outside Africa that Tanzania is making progress in reducing the number of women who die during delivery from 578 to 458 out of 100,000. [Read More]
