The African Strategies for Health project (ASH) will join thousands of policymakers, program implementers, researchers, and family planning advocates from across the world at the 2016 International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) in Nusa Dua, Indonesia.
In collaboration with USAID, ASH will host a special event highlighting the unique opportunities digital technology presents for strengthening the planning, monitoring, and quality of family planning programs.
This session will examine the unprecedented growth in digital and mobile technology that has paved the way for innovative applications for health across the world, and share practical experiences and lessons learned in using mobile technology for family planning. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussion around current challenges and opportunities in family planning programming that could be met with digital solutions, and share their experiences and insights with mHealth.
The interactive session, Harnessing Digital Health: Lessons and Opportunities for Family Planning Programs, will benefit family planning and reproductive health implementing partners and policymakers who are considering opportunities for integrating mHealth technologies as well as those with experience in digital health programming.
